Acting
Participants get to explore the very foundation of acting and answer questions like: How do you create characters, what is an actor's intention, and how do you create character relationships, motivation and comedic timing? You will acquire the tools needed for being successful on the stage, and most importantly, you will learn how to be believable.
Theater Dance
Participants will learn the secrets of dance for theater. Some of the things you will learn include gesture choreography (how to establish characterizations with body language), basic tap for musical theater, and theater jazz!
Vocal Performance
Here participants will learn how to use a properly supported vocal instrument. You will learn how to put it together with song and dance, and how to critique it. Participants will be exposed to the theory of how to sing gospel, show tunes, and even pop/rock. Lastly you will explore how to create new songs out of old favorites.
